Just as Lime Wood is enveloped by and rooted in ancient forest, our weary souls and senses are (like it or not) rooted in nature. Humans are just not designed to function at full pelt, 24/7. Our minds and bodies pay the price.
We’ve listened to what our guests are looking for: lightly structured chill time and making the most of our calm, healing surroundings while, crucially, having some creative fun. So here’s a series of re-rooting retreats, events and workshops that tap into the remedial powers of the English countryside.

Join Mollie from Four Acre Farm in the Raw & Cured garden for an exciting morning exploring the fascinating world of moths! We'll be checking the moth traps set the night before, identifying the species we've caught, and learning all about these delicate creatures.
Join us for an evening discussing the skin and gut microbiome on Wednesday 4th June featuring our dear friend, Peigin Crowley, founder of Ground Wellbeing, and our resident forager, Sammie Longhorn.
Sharing insights into her new Ground Biome skincare range, Peigin will be joined by Sammie who will discuss her experience of consuming only wild, foraged foods for three months as part of her Wildbiome project, exploring the link between gut health and overall well-being.
